Synopsis: Hannah and Alexander, 12 years her senior, have separated and they have a daughter, Lily. Hannah has not shaken off her University drinking habits and seeks solace in alcohol throughout the day to give her the buzz she lacks. Fearing for the safety of their child, Alexander warns Hannah that he will fight for custody if she doesn’t curb her drinking: a warning that Hannah dismisses by attempting to hide her habit. Until one Saturday morning, an innocuous act exposes the true wreck of Hannah’s carefully camouflaged life, and the dawning realisation comes too late for her to change her ways and keep Lily.
